Amiya Bags Dynasty Cup

Team Amiya tallied a total of 57 points to rule the 5th Dynasty Cup golf tournament held at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club in Mandug.

Amiya carded 20 points in the first round played in a Best Net Aggregate format then added 17 in the Best Ball Scramble competition during the second round.

Amiya continued to wax hot by adding 20 points in the third and final round with in a One Ball, Two Some format.

Amiya was played by Joel Yamyamin, Vic Gonzales, Eugene Chion, Bobby Wee, Mark Lopez, Kuresh samanodi, Khalik Samanodi, Tamio Sakurai, and Noel Lopez.

Green Team finished first runner-up with 48 points (17-20-11) followed by DKGA with 45 points (14-15-16). Lito Delos Reyes/ Mindanao Times.

Amiya Team is the official Amiya Resort Residences golf team. Amiya is a premier residential project of Kisan Lu Lands.

PSEi hits new record high above 6,700

Stocks climbed to a new all-time high past the 6,700 level on Monday, February 25.

The Philippine Stock Exchange index rose 56.27 points or 0.84% to 6,721.33 from Friday’s close of 6,665.06. It exceeded the previous all-time high of 6,667.41 set on February 21.

The wider all-share index climbed 33.60 points or 0.81% to 4,176.94.

All counters advanced, led by the industrial sector, which gained 1.68%.

The market rose on strong corporate earnings reports, and the usual month-end window dressing. Fund managers window dress by selling stocks with large losses and purchasing others that have performed well to make their portfolios attractive to clients.
